Last week, Robi Domingo was in hot waters when he offended fans of love teams KathNiel and LizQuen with an Instagram story of him seemingly teasing Liza Soberano to Daniel Padilla. This irked KathNiel and LizQuen fans especially because the two actors are committed with their love team partner. In the said video, Robi was beside Liza while seemingly teasing her to Daniel who’s on the other side of the room. Robi teased: “May sinasabi ka?” He said this twice while Liza and Daniel seemed clueless at what he meant.

Ang daming nagsabi sa akin, even yung Star Magic to do something about it. Ako kasi, why should I feel guilty? Kasi kilala ko naman ang lahat, magkakaibigan kami dito. Sila Liza, Enrique, Kathryn, and Daniel. Hindi nila alam kung ano ang real score. I don’t have to apologize for something kasi wala namang malicious intent yun.”

Robi also shared what’s the story behind the Instagram story. “What I did… well, ganito ang real score, Liza was given a spiel na ang sasabihin niya dapat, ‘Last three weeks na lang ng La Luna Sangre.’ E, Liza, being a good artist and a real friend, sabi niya, ‘Ayokong sabihin yun. Okay lang ba, Kuya Robi, ikaw na magsabi?’ Sabi ko, okay, sige, na last three weeks na ng La Luna Sangre. Para hindi siya ma-bash ng mga KathNiels ’cause may issue pala. I didn’t know na may ganung conflict. Sabi ko, ‘Ako na bahala.’ Nandun kami sa backstage, si Daniel nandun, so sinabi ko lang, ‘Liza, may gusto kang sabihin kay Daniel na last three of La Luna, kasi papasok ang Bagani.‘”

According to Robi, it’s all just about Bagani replacing La Luna Sangre in the primetime slot. He also stated that he called both Liza and Kathryn and apologized to them.

“I called up Kathryn and Liza agad-agad. Kung dala ko lang ang telepono ko, you can see the log, e. They said, ‘Don’t worry about it, alam namin kung ano ang nangyayari. Alam ko kung ano ang mga nagawa ko, and I said, ‘I’m sorry kung nasaktan ko kayong dalawa.’ Sabi nila, ‘Hindi, wala kang ginawang mali.’ Sa lahat ng mga KathNiels and LizQuen, it’s okay, it’s all good, kasi alam ko ang totoo.”

Robi also reiterated that he’s unaffected by all the bashing he received after he posted the clip on his Instagram.

Hindi ako naapektuhan, hindi ako nasaktan that much, kasi alam ko di ako guilty. I know what the real score between everyone, lalo na yung mga relationships-wise. It’s all good, don’t be discouraged. Yung iba siguro naapektuhan because of the insecurity. Don’t be insecure about everything, kasi mismo yung mga iniidolo natin, KathNiel and LizQuen, soild ‘yan. On and off cam, solid sila, solid silang dalawa.”

In a separate interview, Kathryn also clarified that the issue didn’t matter to her that much and that Robi was probably just misinterpreted by their fans.  “Walang problema sa akin yun. Hindi nga sa akin issue yun eh. Tumawag si Robi, nag-sorry siya at wala siyang intention. At kilala ko si Robi alam ko na wala ‘yun,” the La Luna Sangre actress stated.
