A Star Cinema movie and a Dreamscape television series are in the works for Angel Locsin. The 32-year-old actress revealed this during the renewal of her contract with ABS-CBN Network. She has expressed her gratitude and excitement because her stay in ABS-CBN has already exceeded ten years. She transferred to the Kapamilya Network in 2007.
“I will always be a Kapamilya,” Angel remarks during the contract signing where she was accompanied by her father, Angelo Colmenares. This is her fourth contract renewal with ABS-CBN.

Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN President Carlo L. Katigbak, Star Cinema Managing Director Olivia Lamasan, Executive Adviser to Star Cinema Malou Santos, ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Head of Finance for Broadcast and News and Current Affairs Cat Lopez, and ABS-CBN Business Unit Head Laurenti Dyogi.

Angel, however, did not give details about her upcoming projects. She admits that her leading men have yet to be finalized.
But she was quick to mention that she wants to work with Richard Gutierrez again.

“I think sa movie si Richard kung ma-fa-finalize na. Siya rin naman ‘yung first choice ko kasi ‘di ba noong nag-transfer siya dito, sabi ko eto na ‘yung opportunity ko para makatrabaho ko siya ulit. I-ga-grab ko talaga ‘to.”

Richard and Angel were last seen together in La Luna Sangre. Their chemistry was still on fire even after years of not working together. ChardGel fans will surely hope for the movie to push through. Their last movie together was The Promise which was shown in 2007.

Angel also reveals that she wants to work with Coco Martin. She says that she is willing to wait for the awarded actor as he is still busy with the primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

She states, “Matagal ko na ring inaawitan si Coco eh. Limang taon ko na yata inaantay si Coco pero nakapag-antay naman ako so ano pa ba ‘yung mga susunod na taon na aantayin ko?”

Fans and casual viewers will have to wait while Angel’s projects are being finalized. In the meantime, she can be seen on the sixth season of reality talent show Pilipinas Got Talent. She serves as a judge alongside Vice Ganda, Robin Padilla, and former ABS-CBN  President Freddie Garcia.

Will her new teleserye feature action just like Lobo and Imortal? Or will it be heavy drama like The Legal Wife?  Will her upcoming movie be a romantic comedy drama such as Everything About Her and The Third Party? Or do you prefer a tearjerker like Four Sisters and a Wedding and One More Try? Let us know in the comments section!
