  • August 6, 2018

Bela Padilla has always been known as one of the few celebs who speak up their minds and fight when someone crosses the line. The actress proved it again when she called out a entertainment editor for asking a personal question. According to Bela, when she clearly didn’t want to answer the personal question, the editor rudely kept pushing to get something out of her.

On July 9, Bela tweeted: “I was asked a series of very rude and insensitive questions. I tried to answer the best way I could, despite being caught off guard. I’m sorry if you didn’t get the angle you wanted out of me,”

A reporter asked the actress about this tweet during her recent press conference for upcoming movie, The Day After Valentines. Bela clarified that as much as possible, she only wants to answer question about her movie especially if it’s a press conference.

Parang yung PPP, for me, ang pag-usapan natin, yung mga pelikula.”

Another reporter asked Bela if she’s aware that personal questions are part of being in showbiz. “Opo, pero hindi po kailangang sumagot. Hindi po ako bayad para sumagot.”

Everyone was surprised when Bela admitted that it was this reporter that offended her in the past. I’m not there in support for my film but for all eight films ng PPP. I feel like I give so much of myself already pati sa social media.”

The actress said that she felt attacked by the questions of this reporter/editor.

“I feel like, medyo na-attack ako.  I was in a very good mood, tapos nag-iba.

Do you think Bela should’ve confronted the journalist in private or do you like how she handled the situation? Either way, it should be remembered that celebrities don’t owe us any details of their personal lives.
