All hell broke loose when singer Darren Espanto called out his The Voice Kids alum Juan Karlos Labajo for allegedly tagging him on Twitter with the statement “gayness at its finest”. The tweet was sent on October 19, Friday.

Darren pointed out that JK was just claiming that his account got hacked to clean his image and not get accountable for the said tweet. He also revealed that their record label MCA Music Inc. discussed the issue with JK. Darren tweeted: “Timing ‘no? Dinelete ng “hacker” mo yung tweet na ‘to after kang kausapin ng management. Pag nahanap mo yung hacker mo puntahan niyo ako para malaman niyo kung sino yung totoong BAKLA.”

JK responded by saying that he already talked to Darren about this issue privately, but Darren chose to air it out in public. He tweeted: “Nirespeto kita at kinausap in private, but orayt ayaw mo so gawin nating public”

He then attached screenshots of their private conversation on Instagram wherein JK apologized to Darren, and said that he wasn’t the one who sent that tweet.

Later on, JK went on and told a story about a conflict between them that happened inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. These tweets have now been deleted.

The Buwan singer also expressed his disappointment that Darren chose to believe his fans more, and not him who treated him as a brother since The Voice Kids.  He tweeted: “Tinalikuran mo ang sarili mong kaibigan dahil lang sa mga pinagkakalat ng mga taong nakapaligid sayo, I tried talking to you in private but your ears were covered.”

He also stated how all he wanted was for them to be in good terms. “To be honest, all I really wanted was for us to be in good terms because I don’t like issues,” but then he continued saying that it was Darren who wanted it to be this way. He said: “Again, @Espanto2001, I tried talking to you in private but you started this. Gusto mo bastusan tandaan mo mas bastos ako sayo,”

Darren has since then replied to JK’s tweets and even tagged him to make sure that he would see his response.
