Cathy Garcia Molina Refuses To Work With JaDine?

  • March 22, 2018

Amidst fame and success, rumors and controversies still haven’t left the popular love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre. Few months ago, the couple was accused of  being unprofessional when director Antoinette Jadaone aired out her frustration on her blog regarding the delays of their shooting schedule for the upcoming film, Never Not Love You.

It was assumed that the delays were caused by JaDine, with James allegedly having gotten drunk the night before their scheduled shoot. Nadine debunked the rumors and clarified numerous times on interviews that she got sick in the middle of the taping days.

Director Antoinette herself also spoke up in the past that things are good between her and the love team.

However, it seems like this issue is far from over as critically-acclaimed director Cathy Garcia Molina tweeted about it when a JaDine fan expressed her desire for James and Nadine to be able to work with the director someday.

The now deleted tweet of the fan said: “Sana po direk sa huling movie mo sana JaDine ang kunin niyo, magaling po and napaka professional. Natapos mo ang KN, LQ, sana JD naman,” to which director Molina replied: “Iha talaga ba? Iba kasi ang nariinig ko galing mismo kay direk Dan Villegas at Direk Tonet. Sorry.”

JaDine fans were naturally disappointed with the director’s response especially because the fan’s tweet was obviously just born out of admiration for her. They were also wondering if directors Jadaone and Villegas really badmouthed director Molina about JaDine.

After this tweet exchange, director Cathy apologized to the two directors saying she didn’t know that her response to the fan will spread around and put the two directors in bad light.

Director Dan Villegas tweeted about the issue, and urged everyone to support the movie instead of talking about an issue that has ended a long time ago.
