Celebrating pinoy pride has been MEGA’s tradition for years now. Starting in 2010, recognizing and celebrating Filipinos who have challenged the norms and brought glory to our homeland has always been MEGA’s aim every June. This 2017, the country’s best fashion magazine took it up a notch. This time, it isn’t just a celebration—it’s a revolution.
MEGA leads the movement, as they call for change and a movement towards a new and better Philippines. And who’s a better choice to call for this movement other than the millennials? The generation who have been called a lot of names and who have been stereotyped as self-centered and entitled, but amidst all the judgement and criticisms continued to prove everyone wrong.
These young movers and shakers have proven time and time again that their generation is all about redefining the rules and reshaping the landscape. They breathe innovation and creativity, like what MEGA is all about. With this, the country’s best fashion magazine mounted the first-ever red carpet event that’s especially for millennials, the MEGA Millennial Ball.
On the night of the Philippine Independence Day, MEGA celebrated the most talked-about generation by putting the most influential and most relevant millennials of today on the spotlight. They celebrated their youth, passion, and excellence. MEGA Millennial Ball was indeed a night of pride, fashion, and glory.
