If you’re obsessed with their Making Mega photos, Maymay and Edward themselves can’t get enough of them, too. Inside Showbiz asked them to tell us which photo is their most favorite and the reason why they love it!

“‘Yung Cinderella. ‘Yung cover,” answered Maymay.

We crack open the chapters of fantasy and live out personal and collective dreams in the pages of this year’s anniversary issue. And just like every great narrative, this story needed a wide-eyed and impressionable lead to anchor the fairy tale down. Meet Maymay Entrata, our modern-day Cinderella who unlike the archetype of our childhood, is every inch real, charming, expressive and more importantly, with a story to tell. Living out a royal fantasy in the snowy expanse of Heidelberg Castle, the most sparkling next big thing holds her own as if telling us that her moment has truly come.

“‘Yung gown sobrang bigat nya! As in sooobraaaang bigat! Tapos umuulan pa, so basa ‘yun. Alam nyo ‘yun ‘yung time na halos wala na akong mabigay na energy as in sinasabi ko sa sarili ko na ‘Cinderella, please sumanib ka sa katawan ko’ para magawa kong maganda talaga!” she added.

“As in they had to help her carry the train of the gown. ‘Yan ‘yung sir Rain [Dagala] was holding sir Mark [Nicdao] on his shoulders,” Edward added.

Maymay said that the Cinderella (blue gown) layout was the second to the last look they shot, which is why she’s worried if she still looks good in the photos.

“Inisip ko talaga ‘Maganda kaya ‘yun? Nagworry ako. Talagang grabe ‘yung pagka-worry ko sa layout na ‘yun. Kasi umuulan din nung time na ‘yun. Pero nung nakita ko na ‘yung final picture, sabi ko ‘Hala, paano? Magic ba ‘yun? Talaga bang sumanib ni Cinderella sa katawan ko!?” Said Maymay with so much astonishment.

“Kaya ‘yun yung pinaka-gusto ko kasi ‘yun yung isa sa mga pinaka-challenging sa’kin,'” she noted.

When it was Edward’s turn to answer our question, the young actor got excited and said he really can’t choose one.

“I’m actually torn between two photos!”

“Okay! One is the Pocahontas.”

“That was probably the hardest one because I was actually hanging off! If I fell off this tree and slipped off, Maymay and I would’ve fallen down,” he shared.

Edward also explained how his face exudes such emotion. “My facial expression is like this because in my mind I was thinking ‘Please don’t let me die,'” he laughed.

“The second one is the Beauty and the Beast. I just really like the shots.”

Before we ended our interview, Maymay shared which couple photo she likes the most. She suddenly took Edward’s phone from his hand and scrolled through their Making Mega photos, then pointed for her fave one.

“Ang pinaka gusto ko sa pair, ito.”

“Alam ko ‘yan!” said Edward.

“Ito!” exclaimed Maymay, pointing at the Snow White layout.

“Ayun, sabi ko na alam ko na, eh.” Edward added.
