The McLisse tandem are set to make their big screen debut tomorrow with Sakaling Maging Tayo. To promote their upcoming movie, Elisse and McCoy guested on January 14 episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda. Of course, TV host Boy Abunda asked the former onscreen couple about their current relationship status.

“Ex-lovers,” Elisse answered truthfully.

Tito Boy also asked if the co-stars are at least friends, McCoy answered, “Sa mga ganito lang, sa mga interviews, sa mga work,” in which Elisse echoed with a friendly laugh.

The former couple also admitted that they are civil towards each other for the sake of completing their duties for the movie.

Despite that, both Elisse and McCoy hope that one day they will be friends for the sake of what they shared before. “Siyempre po, kasi ang ganda ng samahan namin eh. He’s someone na hindi ko na makakalimutan so sayang yung pinagsamahan from before kung hindi na maibabalik.

May pinagsamahan kami eh. Naging importante siya sa buhay ko. Parang ang sakit naman sa feeling nang matapos yung trabaho namin na hindi kami okay,” shared McCoy right after.
