Nine Filipino Movies To Watch This Holy Week

Filipinos love watching rom-coms and family-oriented films. They watch movies on their pastime or whenever stuck in traffic, or simply watching on the big screen in the movie houses. It’s their way of escape to unwind from the busy streets of Manila and work duties.
Aside from going on a holiday at the beach or roaming around the streets outside of the country, it’s nice to sit back, and rewatch movies that will surely make you reflect about life this Holy Week.

Mika (Barretto) adamantly believes in aliens and that they’re located at Mount Milagros. Magnifico (Manio) lives with his grandmother, sister who’s suffering from cerebral palsy, brother who lost his scholarship, father who always scolds him, and his mother who would do anything for their family. He always want the betterment of everyone without expecting something in return.
Mace (Panganiban) goes to Sagada after breaking up from her 7-year relationship to find the answer to the question, “Where do broken hearts go?” Does Anthony (De Guzman) know the answer to this?
Every Sunday Dantes, Reyes, Gil, Muhlach, goes to their father after learning that he has few weeks to live. How will they cope up with unresolved issues from the past and to live every moment?
College lovers Basha (Alonzo) and Popoy (Cruz) are inseparable but when Basha realizes she needs to grow on her own, Popoy resists the situation. But everyday they’re reminded of their happy memories as they go on their lives, will they give their love story one more chance?
